About
Aron Meinhardt is an award-winning cinematographer whose work combines bold visual storytelling with emotional authenticity. His approach starts with the belief that great stories happen in every genre, and the camera is a conduit for layered and resonant storytelling.
A partner in Julie Pacino’s production company, Tiny Apples, Aron has worked with her to shape the look and feel of every project they’ve undertaken together. This includes their debut feature, “I Live Here Now,” a surreal, psychological horror film shot on 35mm with support from Kodak and Panavision.
Aron began shooting on a 16mm B&H Filmo and editing on a hand-cranked Moviola. This experience shaped his tactile, hands-on approach to filmmaking.
His work has screened at major festivals including Tribeca, Cannes, Venice, Carthage, Fantasia, Edinburgh, and Santa Barbara. He remains drawn to stories that challenge him to bring his whole self to the frame.
